Ricky Wilson has always been intrigued by the power of makeup to transform women from ordinary to extraordinary. As a child I was amazed at how a woman could transform herself into a gorgeous diva with some blush and lipstick. Ricky's greatest thrill as a makeup artist is sharing his fascination with the power of makeup. His beauty philosophy is based on teaching women to enhance their own style and beauty and find their own inner diva by experimenting with colors and trends.

Ricky's extensive career as a makeup artist has included work on fashion shows, print publications, celebrity clients and Socialites. He has contributed to articles in Allure, Shape, Essence, Life & Style, Teen Vogue, People, Us Weekly and Star and his work has appeared on the pages of Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Brides, Lucky, Elle, Allure Town and Country and Modern Bride. Ricky's expertise has been put to work behind the scenes at MTV, Full Frontal Fashion, VogueTV, The Early show and at Los Angeles and New York Fashion Weeks. He has collaborated with designers John Galliano, Vivian Westwood, Rosa Cha, Vera Wang, Emanuel Ungaro, Tommy Hilfiger and Betsey Johnson. He was also recently spotlighted in Vogue's Trend Watch TV and has created custom red carpet looks for clients for the 2005-2008 Academy Awards, Grammy's, and LA's Independent Spirit Awards.

Ricky encourages women to experiment with color. Play with color and have fun with it! The theater of couture runway shows can be translated into inspiring, glamorous looks that don't overpower a woman's personality or style. It's all about using the color palettes of the runway and interpreting them into a look that suits the whole woman.

Ricky is represented by the prestigious Cloutier Remix.
